Position Summary

Salem Media Group is in search of a dedicated Promotions Manager, either full-time or part-time. This role is pivotal in managing promotions across our various radio platforms. The Promotions Manager will collaborate closely with the General Manager and the Sales Team to enhance our promotional strategies.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design engaging digital graphics, including web banners and social media content.
  • Plan and implement significant promotional events, such as community conferences.
  • Draft promotional scripts and announcements.
  • Create compelling copy for our station's website.
  • Develop visual content for our online platforms.
  • Compose text for email marketing campaigns.
  • Ensure compliance with FCC regulations during contests and promotions.
  • Maintain detailed schedules of upcoming promotional activities.
  • Participate in sales meetings.
  • Availability for occasional evening and weekend events.
Qualifications

The ideal candidate will demonstrate exceptional organizational skills, possess strong written and verbal communication abilities, and be adept at managing multiple tasks effectively. Experience in event marketing is highly desirable. Strong interpersonal skills are essential, as this role involves regular interaction with both clients and team members.

Essential skills include:
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook). Familiarity with Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Publisher, PowerPoint) or similar design software is required.
