Mobile Crisis Intervention Clinician Overnight Relief

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Mobile Crisis Intervention Clinician to join our team at Riverside Community Care. As a Mobile Crisis Intervention Clinician, you will play a critical role in providing crisis intervention services to individuals in need.
About the RoleThe Mobile Crisis Intervention Clinician will work as part of a multi-disciplinary team to provide crisis intervention services 7 days a week, 24 hours a day. This will involve working with individuals who are experiencing mental health and/or substance abuse problems, and providing support and evaluation to help them stabilize and access necessary resources.
Key Responsibilities- Perform crisis intervention, including evaluation, stabilization, referral, and follow-up, on-site, in the community, and in emergency departments.
- Assess mental health and substance use presentations to determine the most appropriate course of action.
- Collaborate with consumers, families, providers, and insurers to ensure seamless care coordination.
- Secure placements in detox units, inpatient units, and diversionary levels of care, and coordinate transfers as needed.
- Provide telephonic support, arrange for assessments, and organize transportation as required.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A Master's degree in Psychology, Social Work, or a related human service field.
- At least two years' experience in the field of mental health, including any internship experience.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
- Intermediate computer fluency, including Microsoft Office.
- A valid driver's license and regular access to a reliable vehicle.
