Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Anesthesia Technician to join our team. The successful candidate will provide critical support to the Anesthesia Care Team in the surgical suites, ensuring seamless patient care by maintaining equipment and supplies, restocking stands, and participating in critical phases of anesthesia care.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide exceptional service to the Anesthesia clinical provider, ensuring timely and efficient patient care.
  • Set up the operating room for demanding cases, adhering to licensing restrictions and preparing equipment, supplies, and medications as required.
  • Perform quality control tests for point-of-care testing and maintain accurate records.
  • Manage supply and inventory of equipment, reporting any issues or needs for repair.
  • Assist in preparing and draping patients for invasive monitoring and procedures, retrieving non-narcotics and blood products as needed.
  • Support the Anesthesia clinical provider with volume infusions during intraoperative volume resuscitations.

Credentials and Education:

  • Basic Cardiac Life Support certification is required.
  • Certified Anesthesia Technician certification is preferred.
  • A high school diploma or equivalent is required; a graduate of an Anesthesia Technician program or related program is preferred.
