About the Role:

This Massage Therapist position supports the ThedaCare Hospice team, providing a safe and clean environment for clients to receive massage therapy. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of massage techniques and be able to work effectively with clients to provide a high-quality experience.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct intake assessments to determine client needs and preferences for massage therapy
  • Provide education to clients on the benefits and techniques of massage therapy
  • Work collaboratively with caregivers and patients to ensure a seamless care experience
  • Document services accurately and timely to ensure reimbursement and compliance
  • Develop and implement clinical and community-based activities to improve or expand massage therapy services

Requirements:

  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • Must be 18 years of age
  • Graduate of an approved massage therapy program
  • Licensed by the State of Wisconsin as a Massage Therapist
  • American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) certification

Work Environment:

This role is exposed to bloodborne pathogens and requires occasional exposure to sharp objects, moving mechanical parts, and hazardous materials. The ideal candidate will be able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and prioritize patient safety and well-being.
