Job Summary

Walgreens is seeking a Pharmacy Technician/Pharm Tech Apprenticeship to join our team. As a Pharmacy Technician, you will be responsible for assisting pharmacists in the practice of pharmacy, including dispensing medications, processing prescriptions, and providing excellent customer service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist pharmacists in the practice of pharmacy, including dispensing medications and processing prescriptions.
  • Provide excellent customer service, including greeting customers, answering questions, and resolving issues.
  • Operate pharmacy systems, including entering patient and drug information, and processing prescriptions.
  • Assist with inventory management, including ordering, unpacking, and storing pharmaceuticals.
  • Participate in ongoing training and education to maintain knowledge and skills in pharmacy and healthcare.
Requirements
  • Must be fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English.
  • Requires willingness to work flexible schedule, including evening and weekend hours.
  • Prefer six months of experience in a retail environment.
  • Prefer good math skills and computer skills.
