Job Summary:

This apprenticeship program is designed to give you the skills and knowledge you need to become a certified pharmacy technician and advance your career in the healthcare industry.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist pharmacists in the practice of pharmacy, including the preparation and dispensing of medications, and the maintenance of patient records. Provide excellent customer service, answering questions and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner. Develop strong relationships with customers and healthcare providers, and contribute to a positive and supportive team environment. Participate in ongoing training and education to stay up-to-date on the latest pharmacy practices and technologies. Maintain accurate and detailed records, and adhere to all company policies and procedures. Collaborate with other team members to achieve departmental goals and objectives.

Requirements:

Must be fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English. Requires willingness to work flexible schedule, including evening and weekend hours. Prefer six months of experience in a retail environment. Prefer to have prior work experience with Walgreens. Prefer good math skills and computer skills. Prefer knowledge of store inventory control and PTCB certification.
