Carter Machinery Company, the authorized Caterpillar dealer, is seeking a Rental Coordinator to join our team in Dulles, Virginia. The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating and processing rental agreements for customer rentals of Caterpillar and allied equipment. This role is critical to the day-to-day execution of the rental business, requiring a self-starter who can work in a fast-paced environment with limited supervision.

**Key Responsibilities:**

* Coordinate and process rental agreements for customer rentals of Caterpillar and allied equipment
* Perform general administrative tasks in support of the Rental team
* Build solid relationships with customers and colleagues
* Demonstrate exceptional customer satisfaction skills
* Possess excellent written, verbal, and telephone communication skills
* Understand and practice effective sales techniques
* Calculate figures and amounts such as discounts and interest
* Work additional hours to meet customer and business demands

**Requirements:**

* High school diploma or equivalent
* Experience in the equipment rental industry and knowledge of equipment applications
* Technical aptitude
* Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedures manuals
* Computer skills, including Microsoft products and other applications as needed
