Position Overview: The Pediatric Speech and Language Specialist exhibits proficiency in the assessment and therapeutic strategies tailored for children. This role involves conducting comprehensive evaluations and formulating effective treatment plans with specific, measurable objectives. The specialist collaborates with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless coordination of care.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Communicate treatment strategies effectively with patients and their caregivers, involving them in the goal-setting and intervention process.
  • Continuously monitor patient progress, adjusting treatment plans as necessary, and determining appropriate times for discharge or re-evaluation.
  • Engage actively in departmental activities, including meetings and quality assurance initiatives.
  • Demonstrate the core values of the organization in daily interactions and responsibilities.

Educational Qualifications:

Master's degree in Speech Pathology is required.

Licensure and Certification:

Must possess CPR certification from the American Heart Association and a valid Speech Pathology License from the Ohio Board of Speech-Language and Audiology.
