Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage day-to-day operations to ensure the highest quality of the finished product
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives by identifying areas for optimization and implementing efficient processes
  • Oversee equipment maintenance to ensure proper functioning and minimize downtime
  • Develop and train direct reports to foster a high-performing team
  • Promote and expand a strong safety culture across the plant, adhering to safety protocols and implementing preventive measures

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Agronomy, Seed Science, Plant Science, Agricultural Economics, or a related discipline
  • 3-5 years of manufacturing experience
  • Bilingual in English/Spanish
  • Knowledge of safety protocols and experience in promoting a safety culture
  • Analytical and problem-solving abilities to address operational challenges and optimize processes
  • Organizational, leadership, and managerial skills
  • Ability to travel up to 15% domestically
