Perfusionist Role at Main Line Health

We are seeking a skilled Perfusionist to join our team at Lankenau Medical Center. As a Perfusionist, you will operate extracorporeal circulation equipment during medical situations where it is necessary to support or replace the patient's cardiopulmonary/circulatory function.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate Extracorporeal Circulation Equipment: Safely set up and operate all types of extracorporeal circulation, including long-term ECMO, Autologous Blood Salvaging, Platlett Gel Therapy, and Point Of Care Testing.
• Monitor Physiologic Functions: Ensure the proper management of physiologic functions by monitoring the necessary variables.
• Collaborate with Perfusion Team: Work with the perfusion team to maintain all supplies and equipment on an ongoing basis.

Requirements:

• Experience: Seeking 2-3 years of experience as a Perfusionist.
• Education: Bachelor of Science degree in a physical science from an accredited institution required.

Position Details:

• Position: Perfusionist- full time Monday- Friday.
• Shift: Varied- on call every 10 weeks- position travels to BMH, PMH and Riddle.
