Perfusion Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Perfusionist to join our team at Lankenau Medical Center. As a Perfusionist, you will play a critical role in supporting the cardiopulmonary and circulatory functions of patients undergoing medical procedures.

• Operate extracorporeal circulation equipment to support or replace patient cardiopulmonary/circulatory function
• Monitor and manage physiologic functions during medical procedures
• Set up and operate various types of extracorporeal circulation equipment, including long-term ECMO
• Collaborate with the perfusion team to maintain equipment and supplies
• Provide information and support to other medical departments

• 2-3 years of experience as a Perfusionist
• Bachelor of Science degree in a physical science from an accredited institution
• Knowledge of Autologous Blood Salvaging, Platlett Gel Therapy, and Point Of Care Testing
