We are seeking a dedicated Clinical Pharmacist with a minimum of 1+ years of pharmacy experience to join our team at a leading healthcare facility.
Work Environment:
This role is set within a hospital, offering variable shifts including days and afternoons, with 8-hour workdays.
Key Responsibilities:
- Review and verify physician orders, identifying any therapeutic incompatibilities.
- Collaborate with medical staff to optimize medication therapy regimens for patients.
- Reconcile medication administration records (MARs) and assess antibiotic sensitivities.
- Oversee the timely preparation and delivery of medications and intravenous solutions from the pharmacy.
- Compound and supervise IV admixture in accordance with physician directives.
- Provide guidance and oversight to pharmacy support personnel.
Qualifications:
- Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree.
- At least 1 year of relevant experience in a pharmacy setting.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Compensation:
The position offers a competitive hourly rate starting at $72.50.
