Job Title: Pool Service Technician

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Pool Service Technician to join our team at Anthony & Sylvan Pools. As a Pool Service Technician, you will be responsible for performing a variety of tasks related to the maintenance and repair of residential swimming pools.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Pool Maintenance: Perform spring opening and fall winterization of residential swimming pools per company guidelines.
  • Water Chemistry: Perform advanced chemical balancing and testing of water.
  • Equipment Repair: Diagnose, repair, and replace swimming pool equipment.
  • Safety Covers: Measure and install safety pool covers per manufacturer's guidelines.
  • Documentation: Responsible for accurate and timely documentation of all pool services performed.
  • Sales: Performs advanced selling with equipment upgrades, chemicals, and any other background products.
  • Vehicle Maintenance: Responsible for care of company vehicle by keeping maintained, clean, and stocked.
  • Chemical Handling: Responsible for handling, transporting, and delivering pool chemicals to customers.
Requirements:
  • Education: High School Diploma/GED or equivalent preferred.
  • Experience: 1 - 3 years technical experience in a service industry required.
  • Pool Background: General pool background experience required.
  • Water Chemistry Experience: Water chemistry experience required.
  • Certifications: NESP CMS & CMT preferred.
  • Driver's License: Valid driver's license required.
  • Physical Demands: Able to lift 50 pounds or more.
  • Work Environment: Perform duties that require lifting, bending, and kneeling for extended periods of time.
  • Weather Conditions: Ability to work outside in various weather conditions.
  • Skills: Mechanical aptitude & problem solving, excellent organization skills, quick learner, attention to detail, interpersonal and communication skills required.
  • Travel: Must be willing to travel.
