Master Carpenter

We are seeking a highly skilled Master Carpenter to join our team at the University of California, Irvine's Claire Trevor School of the Arts. As a key member of our production studio, you will be responsible for the construction, installation, and maintenance of stage scenery, stage machinery, and other technical aspects of our productions.

• Assist the Technical Director in the planning and execution of productions, including the construction and installation of stage scenery, stage machinery, and other technical elements.
• Collaborate with the production team to ensure that all technical aspects of the production are completed to a high standard.
• Develop and maintain a high level of technical expertise in scenic construction, stage machinery, and other technical areas.
• Train and supervise student crews in the safe and efficient use of technical equipment and procedures.
• Contribute to the development of new and innovative technical solutions to support the artistic vision of our productions.

• Strong technical skills in scenic construction, stage machinery, and other technical areas.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
