We are seeking an experienced Orthopedic Surgeon to join our team at OptumCare. As a Total Joint Specialist, you will be responsible for performing complex surgical procedures, including hip and knee replacements, and providing exceptional patient care.
Key Responsibilities- Perform complex surgical procedures, including hip and knee replacements, with a focus on minimizing pain and restoring function for patients.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care to patients.
- Develop and implement treatment plans that are tailored to the individual needs of each patient.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in orthopedic surgery and incorporate evidence-based practices into your care.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to ensure that patient care meets the highest standards.
- Medical degree from an accredited school of medicine.
- Board Certification in Orthopedic Surgery.
- Fellowship trained in Total Joint Replacement (Hip & Knee).
- Unrestricted licensure in the state of New York at time of employment.
- Active and unrestricted DEA license or ability to obtain prior to start.
