We are seeking a highly skilled Orthopedic Surgeon to join our team at Optum Healthcare. As a Total Joint Specialist, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care and performing complex surgical procedures.
Key Responsibilities- Perform total joint replacements, including hip and knee surgeries, using minimally invasive techniques and cutting-edge technology.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive patient care.
- Develop and implement treatment plans to improve patient outcomes and reduce pain and restore function.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in orthopedic surgery and incorporate evidence-based medicine into practice.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient satisfaction and outcomes.
- Medical degree from an accredited school of medicine.
- Board Certification in Orthopedic Surgery.
- Fellowship trained in Total Joint Replacement (Hip & Knee).
- Unrestricted licensure in the state of New York at time of employment.
- Active and unrestricted DEA license or ability to obtain prior to start.
