Job Title: Speech Language Pathologist - School Setting

Job Description:

We are seeking a dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to provide essential speech and language therapy services to students in a supportive school district environment. As a contracted SLP, you will work with students from diverse backgrounds and age groups, conducting comprehensive evaluations and developing individualized treatment plans to address speech and language disorders.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct evaluations of students' speech and language abilities.
  • Develop and implement treatment plans to address speech and language disorders.
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support student progress and educational goals.
  • Provide direct therapy services in group and one-on-one settings as per IEP requirements.
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation of student progress, assessments, and interventions.
  • Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to the development of student goals and objectives.

Qualifications:

  • Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Sciences and Disorders.
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA), or eligibility for clinical fellowship year (CFY).
  • State licensure or eligibility for licensure in Speech-Language Pathology.
  • Previous experience in a school setting preferred, but new graduates are encouraged to apply.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
