Position Summary
We are seeking a dedicated Senior CT Imaging Technologist to join our team. This role requires weekend availability and involves working full-time in a dynamic healthcare environment.
Key Responsibilities
As a Senior CT Imaging Technologist, you will be expected to:
- Perform and complete diagnostic CT examinations with precision and compassion.
- Demonstrate comprehensive operational knowledge of CT equipment and related technologies.
- Assist in administering contrast media and other procedures as necessary.
- Ensure patient safety and comfort during imaging procedures.
- Document all relevant clinical information accurately and timely.
- Produce high-quality imaging results for diagnostic interpretation.
- Stay current with technological advancements and best practices in the field.
- Maintain effective communication with patients and healthcare colleagues.
- Ensure cleanliness and functionality of imaging equipment.
- Be available for on-call duties as required.
Qualifications
To be considered for this role, candidates must possess:
- Vocational/Technical education in Radiologic Technology.
- Valid ARRT (R) and ARRT (CT) certifications.
- Active Florida Department of Health licensure.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- A minimum of 1-3 years of recent experience in a CT Technologist role, preferably in an acute-care setting.
