As a vital member of our housekeeping team, you will respond swiftly to requests from guests and collaborate with other departments to ensure a seamless experience. Your responsibilities will include:
Key Responsibilities:
1. Prepare your cart with necessary supplies and transport it to designated areas.
2. Access guest rooms while adhering to protocols for ensuring vacancy.
3. Refresh guest amenities and replenish supplies in each room.
4. Replace soiled linens and towels with fresh items.
5. Make beds and neatly arrange towels.
6. Sanitize bathrooms and remove waste, soiled linens, and room service items.
7. Verify that all appliances are functional and present in the room.
8. Organize desk items, furniture, and appliances, ensuring a tidy appearance.
9. Dust, polish, and eliminate marks from walls and furnishings.
10. Vacuum carpets and perform floor care duties in guest rooms and hallways.
Safety and Standards:
Adhere to all company policies regarding safety and security. Report any maintenance issues, safety hazards, or incidents. Complete required safety training and certifications. Properly store flammable materials and maintain a clean and professional appearance.
Guest Interaction:
Welcome and acknowledge all guests in accordance with company standards. Anticipate and address guests' service needs, including assisting individuals with disabilities. Express genuine appreciation to guests.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to lift, carry, and move objects weighing up to 25 pounds without assistance and more than 25 pounds with assistance.
- Capability to push and pull a loaded housekeeping cart over uneven surfaces.
- Reach overhead and below the knees, including bending, twisting, pulling, and stooping.
- Stand, sit, kneel, or walk for extended periods throughout the shift.
- Manipulate objects of varying sizes and weights, requiring fine motor skills and hand-eye coordination.
Qualifications:
- No high school diploma or equivalent required.
- No prior related work experience necessary.
- No supervisory experience required.
Compensation and Benefits:
The hourly pay for this position is $29.76, accompanied by health care benefits, retirement plans, paid time off, life insurance, disability coverage, and additional wellness benefits. Eligibility for benefits may vary based on applicable requirements and conditions.
