**Job Summary**
We are seeking a highly skilled Dietary Cook to join our team at Laurelwood Healthcare Center. As a Dietary Cook, you will be responsible for preparing and serving meals to our residents, ensuring that our food service operations run smoothly and efficiently.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- Review menus and prepare meals in accordance with established policies and procedures.
- Work with the Dietitian/Director of Food Services to implement recommended changes and ensure compliance with established policies.
- Perform administrative tasks, such as completing necessary forms and reports, and submitting them to the Dietitian/Director of Food Services.
- Assist in establishing food service production lines to ensure meals are prepared on time.
- Process diet changes and new diets as received from clinical staff.
- Prepare and serve meals, bedtime snacks, and substitute foods to residents who refuse served foods.
- Assist with daily cleaning duties in accordance with established policies and procedures.
- Ensure stock levels of staple and non-staple food, supplies, and equipment are maintained at adequate levels.
