About the Job

As a seasoned Technician at Penske, you'll play a vital role in maintaining our fleet of vehicles and ensuring our customers' vehicles are in top condition. With a strong focus on preventative maintenance and repairs, you'll work independently to diagnose and resolve issues, while also collaborating with your team to achieve exceptional results.

Main Responsibilities
  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on trucks and trailers, including oil changes, tire rotations, and brake pad replacements.
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot complex issues with engines, transmissions, and other critical systems.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to complete major repairs and upgrades, ensuring timely and efficient service.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest industry developments and technologies, participating in ongoing training and professional development opportunities.
  • Work in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing time effectively to meet deadlines.

Requirements
  • 6+ years of experience in heavy-duty equipment maintenance and repair.
  • ASE certification or equivalent, with a strong focus on diesel engines and transmissions.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
