ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Design, construct, procure, and implement various mechanical components and systems aimed at enhancing the performance, reliability, and safety of manufacturing equipment.
  • Assist in the assembly of these machines and systems.
  • Engage in the selection, procurement, and installation of purchased equipment.
  • Gain hands-on experience with existing machinery to understand their operations.
  • Familiarize with the products produced by the manufacturing machinery, including their applications, specifications, and design standards.

The Engineer will be tasked with executing projects and responsibilities aligned with their expertise. It is imperative for the Engineer to adhere to high safety standards. Should there be any uncertainty regarding safe practices, the Engineer is expected to seek guidance from their supervisor or another manager.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS
  • Assistance from lifting devices and/or another individual is required when handling heavier or challenging objects.
  • This role necessitates prolonged periods of sitting at a desk, as well as working on machines in various positions.
  • Ability to lift weights of 30 lbs. regularly, 50 lbs. occasionally, and 75 lbs. rarely or with assistance.
EDUCATIONAL AND TRAINING REQUIREMENTS
- An associate degree or higher in engineering is required.
- Proficiency in solid modeling and drafting is essential, with a strong preference for experience in Autodesk Inventor.
- A minimum of 1-2 years of engineering experience is necessary.
