We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Phlebotomist Technician to join our team at BioLife Plasma Services. As a Phlebotomist Technician, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safety and well-being of our donors while collecting high-quality plasma for life-saving medicines.
Key Responsibilities- Provide exceptional customer service to our donors, ensuring their safety and comfort throughout the donation process.
- Screen donors for eligibility, take and record vital signs, and perform finger stick tests as needed.
- Prepare and maintain accurate medical history records, donor charts, and other documentation.
- Operate state-of-the-art plasmapheresis machines, ensuring their proper use and maintenance.
- Collaborate with the management team to identify opportunities for continuous improvement and implement changes to center processes.
- Work effectively in a fast-paced team environment, ensuring a clean and professional work environment.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Current license or certification in the state where duties will be assigned (CPT1, CPT2, CLS, or MLT).
- Ability to walk and/or stand for the entire work shift.
- Ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Ability to lift up to 5 lbs. and occasional lifting of materials up to 32 lbs. and rarely 50 lbs.
- Experience working in food service, retail, hospital, lab, or a regulated environment.
- Strong customer service skills.
- Desire to work in a fast-paced workplace.
