Responsibilities- Deliver safe, quality patient care to patients under the direction and supervision of a Registered Nurse or clinician.
- Review electronic health records for completeness and accuracy.
- Prepare exam rooms and restock supplies.
- Room patients and prepare them for exams, treatments, and procedures.
- Interview patients for their reason for visit and measure and record vital signs.
- Perform delegated medical treatments and procedures according to policies, procedures, and protocols.
- Administer prescribed medicines and injections, clean and dress wounds, and perform Point of Care testing and assigned procedures.
- Collect and process lab specimens and efficiently and accurately record Electronic Health Record information.
- Document all care information and answer phones, route messages, and return calls as directed by clinicians.
- Completion of an accredited LPN program.
- Current state of Minnesota LPN license with no restrictions.
- Ability to lift 30 pounds.
- Demonstrated commitment to promoting a culture that respects and advances diversity and inclusion.
- Open to communicating with individuals from a variety of cultures.
- Ability to establish and maintain positive and effective work relations.
- Ability to take initiative and work autonomously, as appropriate.
- Ability to work effectively with multiple internal and external stakeholders to achieve a common goal.
