Position Type:
This is a part-time role requiring 20-30 hours per week.

Role Summary:
The Facility Maintenance Associate is responsible for maintaining a clean and welcoming environment, ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations and standards.

Key Responsibilities:
1. Perform daily cleaning tasks including:
    - Dusting and vacuuming
    - Disinfecting surfaces
    - Polishing furniture
    - Emptying waste receptacles
    - Mopping and replenishing supplies
2. Execute heavy cleaning assignments and special projects as needed.
3. Conduct routine inspections and maintenance activities, documenting findings.
4. Identify and report any safety hazards or concerns promptly.
5. Uphold confidentiality policies and maintain professional relationships with staff, residents, families, and visitors.
6. Monitor supply inventory and fulfill requisition requests.
7. Maintain open communication with the Program Director and on-duty staff.
8. Assist in emergency evacuation procedures when necessary.

Qualifications:
- Minimum of one year experience in residential cleaning.
- Previous experience in a healthcare or treatment center setting is highly preferred.

Hiring Requirements:
- Employment is contingent upon successful completion of a background check, TB test, drug screening, and pre-employment physical.
- Current First Aid and CPR certification or willingness to obtain upon hire.
- Additional requirements for the mental health program include DOJ/FBI fingerprint clearance or an exemption, along with a signed Criminal Record Statement (LIC 508).
