Job Summary

The Licensed Mental Health Clinician will provide mental health case management services to patients in a correctional setting and consult with a multi-disciplinary team to provide comprehensive mental health care. This includes intake and assessments, crisis intervention, treatment planning, and providing individual and group therapy.

Qualifications
  • Master's degree in psychology, social work, counseling, or a related field from an accredited educational institution is required.
  • Active mental health professional license in Kansas is required.
  • Purified Protein Derivative (PPD) documentation for tuberculosis screening is required.
  • Certification in Cardio-Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) is required.
  • A minimum of two years of experience providing direct care to individuals with mental illness is preferred.
  • A background investigation and agency security clearance may be required.
