Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Paralegal to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for working with attorneys in the preparation, filing, and monitoring of various immigration and nationality law matters. This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated and detail-oriented individual to contribute to the success of our firm and make a meaningful impact in the lives of our clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Communicate effectively with assignees and HR contacts, often serving as the main point of contact
  • Provide guidance and support to assignees and HR contacts regarding proprietary systems and case processing
  • Review and analyze complex immigration cases, identifying areas of improvement and implementing solutions
  • Develop and maintain expertise in multiple areas of immigration law, including corporate immigration, family-based immigration, and humanitarian immigration
  • Collaborate with attorneys to prepare and file immigration petitions and applications, ensuring accuracy and compliance with regulatory requirements
  • Manage and maintain accurate and up-to-date records of client cases, including case files, correspondence, and documentation
  • Develop and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and productivity
  • Provide training and support to junior team members, promoting knowledge sharing and professional development
  • Stay up-to-date with changes in immigration law and regulations, applying this knowledge to improve client outcomes and firm performance
Requirements
  • Minimum 3+ years of experience in U.S. corporate immigration
  • Proven ability to handle high-volume cases and complex immigration matters
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and creatively
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with clients, attorneys, and other stakeholders
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong commitment to collaboration and teamwork
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
  • BA/BS degree in a relevant field, or equivalent experience
