Key Responsibilities- Provide clinical and operational leadership to the Operating Room team, ensuring high-quality patient care and efficient department operations.
- Develop and implement policies, procedures, and standards of care to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and Banner Health's mission and values.
- Collaborate with physicians, surgeons, and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care and optimal outcomes.
- Manage and develop the skills and knowledge of the nursing staff, providing coaching, mentoring, and performance evaluations as needed.
- Oversee the budget and resources for the Operating Room department, ensuring effective use of resources and optimal patient care.
- Develop and maintain relationships with vendors, suppliers, and other stakeholders to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of goods and services.
- Master's degree in Nursing or related field.
- Current RN license in the state of practice.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a leadership role, preferably in a surgical services or operating room setting.
- Strong clinical and leadership skills, with the ability to make sound decisions and prioritize tasks effectively.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse groups and individuals.
