Phlebotomist Job Description

About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled Phlebotomist to join our team at Labcorp. As a Phlebotomist, you will be responsible for collecting blood samples from patients and preparing them for laboratory testing.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collect blood samples from patients using venipuncture and capillary techniques
  • Prepare specimens for testing and analysis
  • Enter patient information into our database accurately and efficiently
  • Process billing information and collect payments when required
  • Provide exceptional customer service to patients and colleagues

Requirements:

  • Valid California Phlebotomy License or application filed with the California Department of Health
  • Previous experience as a Phlebotomist
  • Proven track record of providing excellent customer service
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work independently
