Geriatric Nurse Practitioner Position in Long Beach, CA

GO Staffing is seeking a skilled Geriatric Nurse Practitioner to join our team in the Long Beach, CA area.
Job SummaryWe are looking for a dedicated and compassionate Geriatric Nurse Practitioner to provide high-quality patient care in an outpatient setting. The ideal candidate will have experience working with geriatric patients and a passion for delivering exceptional care to the underserved.
Responsibilities- Provide primary and specialty care to geriatric patients in an outpatient setting.
- Develop and implement individualized care plans to meet the unique needs of each patient.
- Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure comprehensive and coordinated care.
- Conduct routine check-ups, health screenings, and diagnostic tests as needed.
- Prescribe medications and treatments as authorized by state law.
- Document patient interactions, diagnoses, and treatment plans in a timely and accurate manner.
- Geriatric Nurse Practitioner certification and licensure in the state of California.
- Minimum 2 years of experience working with geriatric patients in an outpatient setting.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Spanish language proficiency preferred.
- Competitive salary and benefits package.
- Full-time permanent position with 40 hours per week.
- Call typically one day a week and one weekend each month (phone only).
- 100% outpatient setting.
- Typically see around 16 patients per day.
