Diagnostic Imaging Specialist

Estimated Salary: $27.00 to $38.00 per hour, depending on experience and qualifications

About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Radiologic Technologist to join our team at Next Move Healthcare.

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing diagnostic imaging services by operating radiologic equipment to capture high-quality radiographs.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare patients for radiological procedures by positioning them correctly and configuring equipment settings for optimal results.
  • Operate radiologic equipment to produce accurate and high-quality images, adhering to strict quality control standards.
  • Review each exam for technical accuracy and ensure correct anatomical orientation on all images.
  • Document patient care services and procedures in department records.
  • Assist the radiologist in administering medications and providing care to patients.
  • Participate in emergency on-call rotations to meet department needs.
Requirements

To be considered for this role, applicants must have an Associate's Degree or equivalent Military Radiologic Technologist training.

A current certification with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) is also required, along with state licensure in Virginia (VA) that is in process by the time of submission.

Basic Life Support (BLS) certification must be obtained within 30 days of employment.

Membership with the American Society of Radiologic Technologists (ASRT) is preferred.
