About the Role:
We are looking for a dedicated and skilled Aviation Project Manager to enhance our engineering team. This permanent position presents a unique opportunity to oversee aviation-related projects, engage in business development, and collaborate closely with regulatory bodies.

Key Responsibilities:
1. Direct and manage all phases of aviation projects, ensuring successful planning, execution, monitoring, control, and closure.
2. Work alongside internal and external partners to establish project scope, objectives, deliverables, and criteria for success.
3. Create project timelines and budgets, effectively managing resources throughout the project lifecycle.
4. Ensure adherence to FAA regulations and standards in all project undertakings.
5. Supervise airfield design and lighting installation initiatives.
6. Execute runway design and other aviation engineering tasks.
7. Participate in business development efforts, including proposal creation and client relationship management.
8. Provide mentorship and technical guidance to junior engineering personnel.
9. Conduct risk management assessments to mitigate project risks.
10. Prepare and deliver project status updates and documentation to stakeholders.

Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Aviation Management, or a related discipline.
- At least 3 years of experience in aviation project management.
- Licensed Professional Engineer (PE) certification is mandatory.
- Demonstrated experience in managing airfield and lighting projects.
- Comprehensive understanding of FAA regulations and standards.
- Proficient in runway design and aviation engineering tasks.
- Strong business development capabilities with a successful history in proposal writing and client management.
- Excellent project management skills, capable of handling multiple projects under tight deadlines.
- Strong leadership abilities, with a focus on mentoring and motivating team members.
- Exceptional communication and presentation skills, able to convey complex technical information to non-technical audiences.
- Effective problem-solving skills, with a proactive approach to resolving project challenges.
- Familiarity with project management software and relevant applications.
