About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Yard Attendant to join our team at IAA, an RB Global, Inc. company. As a Yard Attendant, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our facility, working closely with our team to prepare vehicles for auction and providing exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare vehicles for auction by thoroughly cleaning and detailing them to enhance their appearance and value.
  • Operate passenger vehicles safely, moving them around the facility and participating in drive-through auctions.
  • Recover keys, license plates, and other information or objects from vehicles and store them in the appropriate locations.
  • Assist visitors by providing guidance and directing them to the appropriate person for additional assistance.
  • Train and develop skills in forklift and loader operation.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need a high school diploma or equivalent and a strong ability to work in a fast-paced environment. You should be physically fit and able to lift, carry, push, or pull up to 100 pounds. Additionally, you will need to be able to work in all types of weather and remain alert to potential hazards associated with heavy equipment and other vehicles.
