Iron Worker Position Overview

Position Summary:

Hogan & Associates Construction is currently seeking skilled IRONWORKERS/ERECTORS/CERTIFIED WELDERS. Candidates must possess personal tools such as spud wrenches, bolt bags, welding hoods, welding gloves, rod bags, chipping hammers, leather sleeves, and clamps. Required certifications include 3F, 4F, 3G, and 4G welding certifications. Employment is contingent upon successfully passing a pre-employment drug screening and background investigation. Reliable transportation is essential. Only qualified candidates will be considered.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma is preferred.
• Must have reliable transportation.
• Able to work throughout the Wasatch front.
• Must pass a pre-employment drug test and random drug tests thereafter.
• Must pass a background check.
• Responsible for maintaining tools and equipment in safe working condition.
• Must be eligible to work in the United States.

Work Schedule:

Standard work hours are 8 hours per day, with a minimum of 40 hours per week, including potential overtime as needed. Shifts may vary (day, swing, and night) based on management's discretion.

Safety Responsibilities:

Familiarity and compliance with Hogan's safety program and OSHA regulations are mandatory. Employees must maintain a fitness level adequate to perform their job duties. Hogan certification is required before operating any equipment. Safety awareness for oneself and others is crucial, and participation in daily production and safety meetings is expected.
