Job Summary

The Regional Sales Account Manager is a key role at Viking Engineering, responsible for driving sales growth and building strong relationships with customers in their assigned territory.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve revenue targets and expand the customer base
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, understanding their needs and providing solutions to meet their requirements
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure excellent customer service and drive sales growth
  • Travel frequently to customer sites to support machine installations and provide sales support
  • Manage machine and kit sales, participate in trade shows, and conduct sales calls to update CRM systems
Requirements
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in capital equipment sales, preferably in the pallet or wood industry
  • Technical knowledge of machine functions (electrical and mechanical) and ability to travel frequently
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, self-motivation, organization, and a bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
  • Preferred software experience includes Dynamics 360 CRM for lead management and the Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook)
Working Conditions

The physical demands of this role include regular talking or listening, frequent standing, walking, and use of hands to manipulate objects. Occasional lifting up to 25 pounds may be required.

This is a full-time exempt position with standard business hours and occasional nights and weekends as business needs dictate. Willingness to travel for business, customer visits, trade shows, and events (domestic and international) is essential.
