Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Hawaiian/Polynesian dancer to join our team at Royal Lahaina Resort. As a Luau Show Female Dancer, you will be responsible for performing high-energy dance routines, interacting with guests, and maintaining the overall quality of the show.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform daily dance routines, including Hawaiian and Polynesian songs and dances
  • Interact with guests, providing an exceptional experience and ensuring their satisfaction
  • Maintain the quality of the show, adhering to performance standards and artistic direction
  • Assist with daily preparations, including costume and equipment maintenance
  • Participate in rehearsals and training sessions to improve performance and skills
  • Learn and perform all dance numbers and songs of the show
  • Assist other dancers in learning and performing dance numbers and songs
  • Responsible for making own accessories and adornments using fresh greens
  • Maintain costumes and accessories in good condition
  • Supply and maintain personal items needed for performances
  • Comply with local and liquor laws, health and sanitation regulations, and hotel policies
  • Attend and participate in department and company meetings/training
  • Provide an excellent guest experience and ensure overall guest satisfaction
Requirements
  • At least 1-year professional Hawaiian/Polynesian dancing experience or equivalent
  • Previous guest service experience required
  • Proven knowledge of Hawaiian/Polynesian culture, songs, and dances
