Job Title: Senior Account Director - Demand Generation

Data Axle is seeking a highly skilled Senior Account Director to join our team. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining key client relationships, growing new business, and retaining existing customers.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Maintain primary responsibility for key client relationships.
  • Responsible for retention of key accounts through service, and for growing the business in coordination with the Sales team.
  • Develop and maintain expertise on assigned clients and their business.
  • Build effective partnership relationships with key individuals including the decision-makers within the appropriate segments.
  • Coordinate client updates with Sales team in the customer relationship management (CRM) system.
  • Manage expenses wisely.
  • Be responsible for maintaining account relationships.
  • Manage client expectations while working to create a feeling of mutual respect between the Company and the client.
  • Direct programs from start to finish, including obtaining cost estimates, preparing contracts, and developing procedures to assist in the organization of information (critical paths, status reports).
  • Communicate client objectives for each program and be able to translate difficult and technical needs to Operations for the successful execution of the program.
  • Maintain extensive knowledge of all Company products, services, and systems to successfully service and cultivate accounts.
  • Take initiative to enhance knowledge of the relevant vertical market industry, in addition to maintaining an extensive knowledge of the Direct Marketing industry in general.
  • Travel 10 to 25% of time.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's Degree in related field of study or equivalent required.
  • 7 to 10 years of sales or account management experience required.
  • Direct marketing experience is preferred.
