We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Rehabilitation Services Manager to join our team at the Southern Virginia Mental Health Institute. The successful candidate will be responsible for directing, integrating, and coordinating the clinical and administrative functions of the Psychosocial Rehabilitation/Recovery Department.
Key Responsibilities- Develop, plan, implement, and evaluate rehabilitative services to meet the needs of individuals with mental illness, developmental disorders, and addiction.
- Supervise and lead an interdisciplinary team of therapists, including occupational therapists, physical therapists, and recreational therapists.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless integration of services and effective communication.
- Develop and maintain relationships with community partners to ensure access to resources and services.
- Stay up-to-date with best practices and evidence-based treatments in the field of rehabilitation services.
- Licensure and/or certification in one of the following areas of therapy: Art Therapy, Music Therapy, Occupational Therapy, Physical Therapy, or Recreation Therapy.
- Extensive clinical experience in developing, planning, implementing, and evaluating rehabilitative services.
- Previous supervisory experience.
- Valid driver's license in good standing.
- Experience working as an Art or Music Therapist, Occupational Therapist, Physical Therapist, or Recreation Therapist in a psychiatric, healthcare facility, acute care, long-term, or correctional setting.
- Veterans and individuals with National Service experience are encouraged to apply.
