We are seeking a highly skilled Clinical Nurse II to join our team at John George Psychiatric Hospital. As a Clinical Nurse II, you will provide high-quality patient care and work collaboratively with our interdisciplinary team to ensure the best possible outcomes for our patients.
Key Responsibilities- Provide direct patient care, including administering medications, performing treatments, and monitoring patient conditions.
- Develop and implement individualized care plans, taking into account patient needs, preferences, and goals.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care transitions and optimal patient outcomes.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of policies and procedures.
- Supervise and mentor nursing staff, providing guidance and support to ensure high-quality patient care.
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program, with a Bachelor's degree in Nursing preferred.
- Minimum of six months of experience as a Clinical Nurse I, or equivalent experience in a comparable setting.
- Valid license to practice as a Registered Nurse in the State of California.
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification, with other certifications as required by the facility or unit/department.
- Experience working in a psychiatric hospital or similar setting.
- Certification in chemotherapy, ONS, or other relevant areas.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification, with other certifications as required by the facility or unit/department.
