Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Data Analyst II to join our dynamic team in the Information Systems Department. As a Data Analyst II, you will play a pivotal role in extracting, analyzing, and presenting data insights to stakeholders, driving critical decision-making in healthcare.

Key Responsibilities
  • Data Extraction & Analysis: Work with large datasets from our EHR and other systems to extract, clean, and analyze data.
  • Reporting & Visualization: Develop and maintain reports and dashboards using tools like Tableau and Power BI.
  • Predictive Modeling: Assist in building predictive models to support organizational goals.
  • Data Quality Assurance: Ensure data integrity and accuracy across all platforms.
  • Stakeholder Collaboration: Communicate data insights effectively to stakeholders, aiding in data-driven decision-making.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Statistics, Economics, Mathematics, Health/Medical Informatics, Computer Science, or a related field (Master's degree preferred).
  • Experience: Minimum of 2 years in data analysis, preferably in the healthcare industry.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in SQL, including complex queries. Experience with PostgreSQL is a plus. Familiarity with programming languages like R, Python, SAS, or SPSS.
  • Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with excellent attention to detail.
  • Communication Skills: Ability to present complex data insights clearly and effectively.
  • Team Player: Capable of working independently as well as collaboratively in a team setting.

Contract Details

This is a 6-month to 1-year contract opportunity, with the possibility of extension. The position is fully or partially remote, depending on the location of the contractor.

Please note that all new hires or contractors spending any amount of time on-site are required to receive at least one dose of the COVID-19 vaccinations prior to their start date, and complete the second dose as instructed by their healthcare provider.
