Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Industrial Engineer 4 to join our team at Northrop Grumman Defense Systems in Northridge, CA. The successful candidate will lead various programs under Advanced Weapons Systems and utilize capacity modeling software, Digital Transformation, and common IE tactics to drive business success.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead operational excellence plans for the site.
  • Develop and maintain capacity models using FlexSim for mixed-model production environments.
  • Manage KPIs within a digital environment.
  • Support new product introductions and provide production layout, operations, and planning expertise.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Science or Industrial Engineering or Business Management (or equivalent).
  • 8 years of experience (6 with Master's, 4 with PhD).
  • LEAN Six Sigma certification and implementation experience preferred.
  • Strong Microsoft Excel skills and analytical/data management abilities.
  • Must be able to obtain SECRET clearance.
