Job Summary

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement product designs from concept to production, ensuring they meet customer needs and company goals.
  • Collaborate with sales, engineering, marketing, manufacturing, and IS/IT teams to provide engineering expertise and specification details.
  • Engage with customers to share product knowledge, provide training, and support their business growth.
  • Participate in continuous improvement projects and contribute to team efforts.
  • Manage projects to ensure timely completion, budget adherence, and customer satisfaction.
  • Manage the Engineering Change Process and ensure all changes are properly documented and implemented.
  • Develop and communicate complex 3D mechanisms and design for manufacturing and assembly.
  • Perform Manufacturer Coordinator duties, including coordinating manufacturing documentation changes and providing general product engineering support.

Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum 5 years of product design experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • Advanced Microsoft Office skills and ability to learn firm-specific programs and software.
  • Positive attitude, detail-oriented, and ability to thrive in a team environment.
  • Proven leader, strategic thinker, effective communicator, and disciplined to work independently.

Working Conditions
  • Work in a drug-free environment and wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) as required.
  • Occasional handling of materials and use of standard office and shop equipment.
  • Travel, both domestic and international, may be required.

Physical Requirements

This role requires the ability to lift, bend, or stand as necessary, and to remove and install test products and components into vehicles, fixtures, equipment, and other apparatus for evaluation and testing.
