Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Licensed Veterinary Technician to join our team at the Veterinary Medical Center of St. Lucie County. As a key member of our emergency veterinary hospital, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and support to our clients and their pets.

Key Responsibilities:

* Provide high-quality patient care, including restraint, triage, and laboratory sample collection and analysis
* Assist with diagnostic imaging, surgical preparation, and anesthetic management
* Communicate effectively with clients and veterinary staff to ensure seamless care and treatment
* Maintain a clean and safe environment, adhering to hospital protocols and standards
* Participate in ongoing training and professional development to stay up-to-date on the latest techniques and best practices

Requirements:

* Licensed veterinary technician with 1+ year of experience in emergency veterinary care
* Strong work ethic, positive attitude, and excellent communication skills
* Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
* Weekend availability and flexibility to work varied shifts
* Exceptional customer service skills and ability to work collaboratively with clients and staff
