Position Summary

The Senior Process Engineer for the Enterprise Transformation Initiative (eCTW) will focus on enhancing process capabilities, driving cost efficiencies, and implementing continuous improvement projects across our manufacturing sites.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the execution of eCTW projects within the manufacturing environment.
  • Conduct project planning, financial justification, and specification development.
  • Complete engineering studies and validations at the manufacturing facilities.
  • Oversee the procurement and installation of machinery, including the assembly of complete machines or processes.
  • Provide substantial leadership in the design of processes and machinery for new product and process innovations.
  • Identify and champion significant continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Demonstrate creativity in problem-solving and independently propose solutions.

Collaborate with plant engineers, management, vendors, and consultants, while also engaging with other BD facilities, platform teams, and sales & marketing for the development and design of equipment or processes for new products and technologies.

Plan and execute activities for multiple complex projects and processes autonomously.

Willingness to travel to various manufacturing locations as required.

Additional Responsibilities
  • Ensure compliance with all local and corporate BD safety regulations and policies.
  • Adhere to corporate and local quality assurance policies and practices.
  • Perform other job-related duties as assigned.
  • Maintain compliance with safety, environmental, and quality system standards.

Qualifications

Education and Experience:

A Bachelor's degree in Engineering (preferably Mechanical, Industrial, or Manufacturing) is required. Alternatively, a high school diploma/GED with over 10 years of relevant experience may be considered.

Experience in manufacturing is essential, with a minimum of 3 years required and 5 years preferred. An advanced degree may substitute for some experience.

Experience with Multivac packaging systems is advantageous.

The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, and have the ability to optimize manual processes. Flexibility to work various shifts as necessary to conduct engineering studies is essential.

Independent thinking and a self-driven approach are crucial, along with a collaborative work style that effectively engages across all organizational levels.

Knowledge of quality systems and logistics & planning is required.
