Role Summary:
The Senior Compliance Analyst for Global Trade will report directly to the Associate Director of Global Trade Compliance. This position is pivotal in managing daily operations related to the import and export activities of the organization.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead product classification efforts, including Harmonized Tariff Schedule (HTS) and Export Control Classification Number (ECCN).
  • Offer guidance and support to internal teams such as logistics, purchasing, and order management, as well as external partners like third-party logistics and customs brokers.
  • Review and respond to Denied Party Screening inquiries.
  • Evaluate end-use statements for potential compliance issues.
  • Monitor and report on Anti-Boycott requests.
  • Prepare and submit documentation for Commodity Classification Automated Tracking System (CCAT) and Commodity Jurisdictions (CJ).
  • Conduct regular audits and assessments of trade compliance practices to identify improvement opportunities and implement corrective measures.
  • Maintain accurate recordkeeping as mandated by regulatory authorities.

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Proficiency in Harmonized Tariff Schedule (HTS), Export Control Classification Number (ECCN), and United States Munitions List (USML) is essential. Candidates must demonstrate the ability to apply General Rules of Interpretation effectively.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in business, international trade, or a related discipline.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in trade compliance.
  • Licensed Customs Broker or equivalent experience is preferred.
  • Extensive knowledge of international trade regulations, including import/export controls, customs compliance, and sanctions.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic work environment.
