Job Summary: We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Day Porter to join our team at LOT Management. As a Day Porter, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and organization of our properties, ensuring a safe and welcoming environment for our clients and staff.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Cleanliness and Organization: Pick up trash and recyclables, empty trash receptacles, and perform cleaning tasks such as sweeping, mopping, dusting, and cleaning cobwebs.
  • Exterior Maintenance: Clean exterior surfaces of windows, windowsills, and doors, and remove any debris or soil.
  • Property Inspections: Continuously walk the property to inspect all public areas for cleanliness and report any issues to the supervisor.
  • Equipment Maintenance: Ensure all equipment is in good working condition and report any maintenance needs to the supervisor.

Requirements:

  • Janitorial Experience: Previous experience in janitorial or maintenance work is preferred.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent communication skills are required to effectively interact with clients and staff.
  • Punctuality and Dependability: A strong sense of punctuality and dependability is essential to meet the demands of this role.
  • Physical Abilities: Ability to stand for extended periods, walk, climb stairs, and lift up to 35 pounds.
