Job Title: Hotel Assistant Director

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced individual to fill the role of Hotel Assistant Director at our Courtyard by Marriott Alcoa location. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the housekeeping department, ensuring that all guests receive exceptional service and that the hotel's standards are consistently met.

About the Role:
  • The Assistant Director will be responsible for assigning rooms to housekeepers, ensuring that all cleaned rooms meet the highest standards, and maintaining accurate records of lost and found items.
  • This role requires strong leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and train staff members to deliver exceptional results.
  • The Assistant Director will work closely with the maintenance team to ensure that all housekeeping supplies are adequately stocked.
Responsibilities:
  1. Assigning rooms to housekeepers and ensuring timely completion of tasks.
  2. Maintaining accurate records of lost and found items and ensuring that all storage areas are secure.
  3. Working collaboratively with the maintenance team to ensure that all housekeeping supplies are adequately stocked.
  4. Providing training and development opportunities to housekeeping staff.
  5. Ensuring that all guest inquiries and complaints are addressed promptly and professionally.
Requirements:
  • A minimum of 2 years' experience in a similar role or relevant industry experience.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with staff, guests, and external partners.
  • A high school diploma or equivalent is required; a degree in hospitality or a related field is an asset.
  • Availability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
