Responsibilities

In this role, you will:
  • Act as a patient advocate throughout their care continuum.
  • Serve as a liaison among management, healthcare providers, and community organizations.
  • Coordinate treatment efforts, focusing on quality improvement and educational initiatives.
  • Gather and analyze data to track outcomes and suggest process enhancements.
  • Provide referrals and support for patients lacking insurance or adequate coverage.

Requirements

Licensure / Certification / Registration:
  • Must possess a Registered Nurse credential from the Maryland Board of Nursing prior to employment.
  • BLS Provider certification from the American Heart Association (AHA) is preferred.
Education:
  • Diploma from an accredited nursing school or professional licensure at the time of hire.

Additional Preferences
  • Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) is preferred.
  • Registered Nurse credential from the Maryland Board of Nursing.
  • Triage certification from AAACN or another accredited nursing board is preferred.
  • Minimum of five years of clinical experience in acute or outpatient care.
  • At least one year of telephone triage experience is preferred.
