Job Overview
We are currently seeking a highly experienced and skilled Director of Surgical Services to join our team at Next GenHealth Staffing. This individual will be responsible for overseeing the surgical department and ensuring the delivery of high-quality patient care.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Leadership and Management
- Provide strategic leadership and direction to the surgical department.
- Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure efficient and effective operations.
- Quality Improvement
- Identify areas for improvement and develop plans to address them.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless coordination of patient care.
- Patient Care
- Ensure that patients receive high-quality care that meets their needs and exceeds their expectations.
- Communication and Collaboration
- Effective communication with patients, families, and interdisciplinary teams.
- Education and Training
- Develop and implement educational programs to enhance staff knowledge and skills.
- Regulatory Compliance
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and accreditation standards.
What We Offer
Next GenHealth Staffing offers a competitive compensation package, including a base salary of $100,422 - $125,548 per year, with a 15% bonus incentive. Sign-on and relocation assistance are negotiable.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in nursing required.
- Master's degree in Nursing, Business Administration, Healthcare Administration or a related field preferred.
- 3+ years of experience in a leadership role preferred or equivalent combination of education and/or experience.
- Currently licensed as a registered professional nurse in the state in which he or she practices, in accordance with law and regulation required.
- Certified Nursing Operating Room (CNOR) preferred.
- Certified Surgical Services Manager (CSSM) preferred.
