  • Standard working hours from Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM (with flexible scheduling options)
  • One Saturday shift each month from 8:00 AM to 12:00 PM
  • No on-call responsibilities required

As a Cardiovascular Imaging Specialist, your key responsibilities will encompass the preparation of equipment, patient readiness, data management, report creation, and effective communication with both medical professionals and patients.

Core Responsibilities:

  • Conduct Echocardiograms, Carotid, and Abdominal Aorta ultrasounds
  • Perform EKGs and monitor patient vital signs
  • Adhere to established quality assurance processes and protocols
  • Prepare patients for examinations and collect clinical histories
  • Manage data entry, report generation, and documentation scanning

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience with Echocardiograms
  • Knowledge of Carotid and Abdominal Aorta ultrasounds, EKGs, and patient vitals
  • Completion of an accredited Ultrasound Program with an Associate degree
  • Registration in Cardiac, ARDMS, or CCI is required
  • Vascular registration is preferred
  • Proficient in the use of computer systems and medical equipment
  • Self-driven individual with the ability to manage multiple tasks

Essential Skills:

  • Ability to educate patients regarding procedures and address their inquiries
  • Understanding of clinical protocols and patient confidentiality regulations
  • Strong oral and written communication skills with healthcare providers and patients
  • Familiarity with medical terminology
